Common questions about boiler installation
Should I switch to a combi?
It depends on the house. A combi frees up the cylinder cupboard and heats water on demand, but in a house with two bathrooms running at once a system boiler and a cylinder often gives a better result. You will get a straight answer rather than whichever is easier to fit.
How long does a boiler swap take?
A straight swap in the same position is usually a day. A conversion or a move takes longer because the pipework and the flue have to be reworked.
